Indira Gandhi University, Meerpur, was established on September 7, 2013, with a vision to promote excellence in higher education and research. Before becoming a state university, the institution functioned as the Indira Gandhi Post Graduate Regional Centre under Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, since October 3, 1988.
The university is located in Meerpur village, approximately 10 km from Rewari and about 300 km from Chandigarh, the state capital. The 100-acre campus is surrounded by greenery and equipped with modern academic infrastructure. Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Physics from a recognized university or institution with first division marks.
- Candidate must have qualified GATE or CSIR/UGC-NET examination.
Desirable Qualification
- Sound knowledge of Nano-materials.
- Hands-on experience in handling Electrochemical Workstations or similar laboratory equipment.
Fellowship Details
The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship of ₹37,000/- plus HRA, as per project and university norms. The fellowship is applicable for the entire project duration of three years, subject to satisfactory performance and continuation of project funding.
