Research Opportunity: Junior Research Fellow (JRF Recruitment 2025)
IIIT Sri City is seeking motivated and skilled candidates for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF Recruitment 2025) for a cutting-edge project:
Project Title:
Explainable AI and Distributed Edge Computing for Analyzing Healthcare Data Using Internet of Medical Things
Lab: Edge Intelligence and Distributed Systems (EIDS) Lab
Project Duration: 36 Months
Job Location: Sri City, Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh
Fellowship:
- JRF: ₹37,000 + HRA (for the first 2 years)
- SRF: ₹42,000 + HRA (from the third year onwards)
PhD Opportunity:
Selected candidates may be eligible for full-time PhD admission at IIIT Sri City, following institute norms. This presents a unique pathway for researchers who are highly motivated to pursue doctoral studies while gaining hands-on experience.
Eligibility Criteria
IIIT Sri City invites applications from highly qualified candidates meeting the following criteria:
1. Essential Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or equivalent in a relevant area with a minimum CGPA of 6.5/10 or 60% marks from a recognized Institute/University
OR - B.E./B.Tech. in CS, IT, AI, AI-DS, or related disciplines from:
- Institutes with NIRF ranking within top 100 in the last 3 years
- Institutes of National Importance
- Minimum 80% marks or 8.0 CGPA
- Valid GATE/NET score card for the year of admission
2. Desirable Skills:
- Hands-on experience in IoT or hardware development
- Familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB
- Python programming for data analysis and modeling
