Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) Opportunity

IIM Indore is inviting applications for the Post-Doctoral Fellowship (PDF) for motivated candidates who have recently completed their PhD. This fellowship is aimed at developing high-quality research scholars capable of conducting independent research in collaboration with faculty members.

Job Type: Temporary Post-Doctoral Fellowship
Department/Area: Strategic Management (SM)
Faculty Mentor: Prof. Punyashlok Dwibedy

Proposed Areas of Research:

• Product, Process, and Business Model Innovation
• Entrepreneurship
• Quantitative Methods (Econometric Modelling)

Duration: 1 year (renewable up to 2 years)

Eligibility Criteria

Essential Qualifications:

• Successfully defended PhD/FPM (within 5 years of application) from a premier institute/university (excluding IIM Indore).
• Minimum 60% marks / 1st division in the master’s degree or the degree immediately preceding PhD.
• Candidates who have submitted their thesis are also encouraged to apply.

Desirable Qualifications:

• At least “B” category (or above) publications in ABDC or equivalent journals.

Fellowship and Benefits

Stipend and Financial Support:

• Monthly Stipend: ₹60,000 (consolidated)
• Start-up Fund: ₹40,000 (one-time for conferences, computing devices, etc.)
• Publication Incentive: For publishing in high-quality journals

Other Facilities:

• Campus accommodation (if available) at a discounted rate of ₹3,000 per month
• Office space and access to resources available to other students (e.g., library, internet, transport)

Responsibilities

• Teach at least a 4-credit course per year (undergraduate, postgraduate elective, or doctoral course)
• Collaborate with faculty mentor to publish at least one research article per year in an A (or above) category journal (ABDC or equivalent)
