Faculty Positions Open at IIT Hyderabad – 2025

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Hyderabad) invites applications from exceptionally bright and motivated candidates, including Indian nationals, Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs), and Overseas Citizens of India (OCIs), for faculty positions at the levels of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. Additionally, foreign nationals are eligible to apply for faculty positions at all levels; however, their appointments will be on a contract basis for up to five years.

Faculty joining a particular department may seek affiliation with up to two additional departments depending on their research interests. When affiliated with multiple departments, a faculty member is expected to teach approximately two credits in each affiliated department, in addition to the standard six credits per year in their parent department.
