Project & Position Overview
The advertised positions JRF Recruitment are for the research project titled:
“Development of wide-bandgap semiconductors-based highly efficient power electronics systems for Electric Vehicles.”
This project focuses on exploring the potential of wide-bandgap semiconductors to design advanced, energy-efficient systems that will accelerate the development of electric vehicles in India. Selected candidates will not only gain hands-on experience in cutting-edge technologies but may also have the opportunity to register for a Ph.D. program at IIT Roorkee, subject to institute norms.

Eligibility Criteria
- Essential Qualifications
- A 4-year Bachelor’s degree OR a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering / Equivalent disciplines.
- Must have qualified a national-level test such as GATE, CEED, JEST, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET (including lectureship), or Ph.D. program admission tests.
- Candidates with CGPA above 8.0 from Ministry of Education-funded CFTIs are exempt from national-level test requirements.
- Desirable Qualification
- Prior exposure or research experience in Machine Design and Electric Drives will be highly advantageous.
Fellowship & Benefits
