About the Program
Scrollwell successfully conducted a 14-Day Faculty Development Program on Generative AI and Advanced Tools for Academic Research from December 15 to 28, 2025. The program aimed to strengthen academic research skills through the effective use of AI-driven tools and modern research techniques.
The FDP also served as a revision and upskilling initiative for Scrollwell alumni, allowing participants to revisit core research concepts while adopting updated AI-enabled research workflows.
Program Highlights
The program was led by a single resource person, who delivered structured and application-focused sessions throughout the fourteen days. The sessions covered key aspects of AI integration in academic research, including research planning, questionnaire design, and manuscript preparation.
Participants explored the use of ChatGPT and related AI tools for research ideation and content development. The sessions further focused on research paper formatting using MS Word, along with effective reference management using Mendeley and Zotero.
In addition, the program addressed AI-assisted presentation creation, grant proposal drafting, and the use of Excel integrated with AI tools for research data organization. Each session combined conceptual clarity with live demonstrations to ensure practical understanding.
Participation Details
The FDP attracted participation from faculty members, researchers, and Scrollwell alumni across multiple disciplines. Participants actively engaged through questions, discussions, and hands-on practice during the sessions.

By the conclusion of the FDP, participants were able to:
