Eligibility Criteria

Medical Candidates

Professor:

• Essential: MD/MS or equivalent in the relevant subject.
• Experience: 14 years of teaching/research after qualifying degree.

Additional Professor:

• Essential: Same as Professor.
• Experience: 10 years of teaching/research.

Associate Professor:

• Essential: Same as Professor.
• Experience: 6 years of teaching/research.

Assistant Professor:

• Essential: Same as Professor.
• Experience: 3 years of teaching/research.

Non-Medical Candidates

• Master’s degree (UGC recognized) in relevant discipline (Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, Pathology, Pharmacology).
• Ph.D. in the concerned discipline from a recognized Indian or foreign university.
• Teaching/research experience: 14 years (Professor), 10 years (Additional Professor), 6 years (Associate Professor), 3 years (Assistant Professor).

Pay Scale

• Professor: Level-14-A (Rs. 1,68,900–2,20,400) + allowances/NPA
• Additional Professor: Level-13-A2+ (Rs. 1,48,200–2,11,400) + allowances/NPA
• Associate Professor: Level-13-A1+ (Rs. 1,38,300–2,09,200) + allowances/NPA
• Assistant Professor: Level-12 (Rs. 1,01,500–1,67,400) + allowances/NPA
