Position Overview

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Guest Faculty position must meet the following requirements:

• A B.E./ B.Tech./ B.S. degree in the relevant branch with first class.
• An M.E./ M.Tech./ M.S. degree or an Integrated M.Tech. in the relevant branch, also with first class.
• Applicants with prior teaching experience, research contributions, or professional/industry exposure will receive preference during the selection process.

Salary / Honorarium

| Pay Scale | ₹1500 per lecture with a ceiling of ₹50,000 per month (as per university norms) |

The remuneration structure ensures that guest faculty members are compensated fairly for their academic contributions, with the monthly ceiling providing clarity and transparency.

Walk-in Interview Details

How to Apply

1. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria should appear in person for the walk-in interview on the scheduled date.
2. Applicants must carry a duly filled application form in the prescribed format. The form can be obtained from the Assam University website or from the concerned department.
3. Along with the form, candidates must bring:
   • Self-attested copies of educational qualifications and mark sheets.
   • Certificates related to teaching/research/industry experience (if any).
   • Proof of identity and address.
   • Recent passport-size photographs.
4. All original documents must be presented at the time of the interview for verification.
5. Candidates are advised to report at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time of the interview for document verification and registration.

• No travel allowance (TA) or dearness allowance (DA) will be provided to candidates attending the walk-in interview.
• Selected candidates must join immediately after the appointment is confirmed.
