- Title of Project: Unveiling the Role of Glycocalyx in Red Blood Cell Movement under Electric Field: Vision for an Affordable and Sustainable Technique (VAST) for Early Preeclampsia Detection
- Funding Agency: Notified by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, NIT Silchar
- Project Duration: 3 years (subject to performance review every 12 months)

Essential Qualifications
Candidates must hold:
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering with valid GATE qualification, OR
- M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
Desirable Experience
Applicants with the following expertise will have an advantage:
- Strong understanding of Fluid Mechanics
- Exposure to Experimental Microfluidics
- Familiarity with Blood Flow Dynamics
- Working knowledge of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
