Junior Research Fellow (JRF) Opportunity at Sharda University
Sharda University, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, invites applications for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under a DBT-funded project. This is a unique opportunity for motivated candidates to work on cutting-edge research in CRISPR/Cas9-mediated genome editing for improving the yield and nutritional quality of Indian oilseed mustard.

This is a multi-institutional project, and while most of the work will be conducted at Sharda University’s state-of-the-art molecular biology and plant tissue culture facilities, some experiments will be carried out at NIPGR, New Delhi.
Position Details
- Job Title: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
- Duration:
- Initial Appointment: One year, renewable annually based on satisfactory performance
- Maximum Duration: Three years (co-terminus with the project)
- Start Date: January 1, 2025
- Salary: ₹37,000/- + 9% HRA per month (Consolidated)
Eligibility Criteria
