This 5-Day FDP was designed to equip educators, researchers, and academic professionals with the knowledge and skills to integrate Generative AI and advanced tools into their academic research workflows. Over five comprehensive one-hour sessions, participants explored the transformative potential of AI in research, from idea generation to ethical considerations.

Day 3: Application of Research-Based AI Tools

• Hands-on experience with AI tools for data analysis and research processes.
• Practical guidance on integrating AI into research projects.

Day 4: Research Paper Writing Using MS Word

• Writing and formatting research papers using MS Word.
• Structuring abstracts, introductions, and conclusions.
• Practical exercises on citation management and creating a table of contents.
• Outcome: Proficiency in writing and formatting research papers efficiently.

Day 5: Reference Management and Ethical Considerations

• Overview of reference management tools like EndNote, Zotero, and Mendeley.
• Automating citation and bibliography processes.
• Ethical issues related to AI, including bias, transparency, and fairness.
• Outcome: Efficiently manage references and ensure responsible use of AI in research.
