Scrollwell conducted a highly focused 2-Day Scopus Workshop on Research Discovery, Scopus AI and Quality Journal Selection from December 01 to 02, 2025. The program aimed to equip educators, researchers, and postgraduate students with practical, application-oriented skills in Scopus navigation, AI-assisted literature discovery, credible journal evaluation, and author profile optimization. Moreover, the workshop emphasized research visibility and ethical publication practices, ensuring participants could apply these techniques immediately to their academic workflows.

1. Scopus Essentials and Smart Search Techniques
The workshop began with an introduction to Scopus, its academic relevance, and comparison with Google Scholar and Web of Science. Participants explored indexing standards, document types, and navigation features, along with advanced search strategies using Boolean operators and filters.
2. Scopus AI for Literature Discovery
Participants learned to use Scopus AI for generating topic summaries, keyword suggestions, and trend identification. The tools helped simplify literature reviews and quickly identify emerging research areas.
3. Quality Journal Selection and Evaluation
This session focused on verifying Scopus-indexed journals, evaluating them using CiteScore, SNIP, SJR, and Quartiles, and shortlisting suitable journals while avoiding predatory publications.
