“Characterizing primary and induced Schwann cell cultures for Myelination: In vitro and In vivo studies.”
This role requires candidates with a strong background in biological sciences and hands-on experience in laboratory techniques such as cell culture, molecular biology, and animal handling. - Designation: Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical)
- Tenure: 15 months (strictly contractual, with no further extension)
- Type: Temporary and project-based
- Fellowship: ₹56,000 per month + 27% HRA (as per funding agency norms)

Eligibility and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- A First Class Postgraduate Degree or Integrated Postgraduate Degree in Biological or Life Sciences.
Desirable Qualifications
- Prior knowledge of renal physiology or experience in renal biology is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Skills Required
- Proficiency in:
- Cell culture techniques
- Molecular biology methods
- Routine laboratory protocols, including protein isolation, SDS-PAGE, Western blotting, RNA isolation, and RT-PCR.
- Strong data acquisition and handling abilities.
- Commitment to good laboratory practices.
Age Limit
- Candidates must not exceed 35 years of age.
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
- Conduct research aligned with the project goals.
- Perform laboratory experiments, including advanced molecular biology techniques.
- Manage and analyze data efficiently.
