Job Responsibilities
Work on catalytic pyrolysis and biofuel upgradation in a pilot-scale pyrolysis reactor.
Conduct experiments using high-pressure reactors and analyze biofuels.
Interpret results, identify key challenges, and optimize processes.
Collaborate with scientists and research teams while contributing to high-impact publications.

Educational Qualification
PhD in Chemistry, Energy Science & Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Petrochemical Engineering ORMSc/MTech/ME in the same fields with 2-3 years of research experience.
Experience
Fresh PhD candidates or 1-3 years of experience in catalytic biofuel conversion using thermochemical routes.
Technical Skills
Experience in heterogeneous catalyst synthesis, bio-oil deoxygenation, and hydrotreatment. Knowledge of pyrolysis and gasification is essential.
Analytical Skills
Strong expertise in GCMS, HPLC, TGA, NMR, FTIR, Calorimetry, and Gas Chromatography (GC).
Soft Skills
Excellent technical writing skills, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, and integrity.
Preferred Additional Knowledge
Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Techno-Economic Evaluation.
