Post Doctoral Fellow Recruitment at BITS Pilani

The Cognition and Neural Dynamics Lab (CNDL) at BITS Pilani invites applications for a Post Doctoral Fellow (PDF) position under the ANRF National Post Doctoral Fellowship (NPDF) program. This is a full-time research engagement offering an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge topics related to cognitive neuroscience and technology use.


About the Research Lab

The CNDL lab focuses on understanding brain-behavior relationships using interdisciplinary approaches, including behavioral analysis, EEG recordings, and digital data streams. The selected Post Doctoral fellow will be involved in:

  • Developing behavioral paradigms and smartphone-based data collection methods
  • Designing and analyzing EEG experiments
  • Building and managing data collection pipelines
  • Modeling cognition and behavior during healthy and problematic smartphone use

Fellowship Support

The position is funded under the ANRF-NPDF scheme, which includes:

Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have a PhD in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Must demonstrate a strong interest in cognitive neuroscience, behavioral data analysis, and/or EEG methodology.
  • Experience in programming (e.g., Python, MATLAB), data pipeline development, and machine learning would be an added advantage.
  • Candidates must meet ANRF-NPDF eligibility criteria.
