The Gandhi Fellowship Program, initiated by the Piramal Foundation, aims to nurture young individuals into committed public leaders capable of transforming India’s social and public systems. Rooted in self-discovery and immersive fieldwork, the program challenges fellows to reimagine leadership, build solutions for complex problems, and foster sustainable development through systemic reform.

Fellowship Curriculum
The curriculum follows a rigorous structure combining experiential learning and reflection:

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the fellowship, the applicant must:
- Be under 26 years of age as of October 2, 2023
- Be a graduate or final-year student (UG/PG) with degree completion by July 2024
- Have a minimum average of 55% in academics
- Demonstrate sensitivity toward national social challenges
- Commit to full-time participation throughout the 23-month program
- Note: No leave is permitted for academic exams during the fellowship tenure

Stipend and Benefits

Housing & Transport | Rent-free accommodation and necessary travel support provided |
The reserve amount can help fellows pursue social enterprise, global exposure, or higher education after the fellowship.
