Revised Recruitment Announcement

Shivaji University, Kolhapur has issued a revised notification concerning its earlier advertisements (Nos. 22, 23, 24, and 40/2024), originally published on October 10, 2024, on the University website and in leading newspapers on October 11, 2024.

Following the Government of Maharashtra Resolution (Sankirn-2025/E-860421/Vishi-1 dated October 6, 2025), the University has revised the recruitment procedure for teaching positions in State Public Universities (Non-Agricultural).

In compliance with this resolution, the University has extended the application timeline and directed candidates to use the revised standard evaluation format introduced by the State Government.

Guidelines for Previously Applied Candidates

To maintain transparency and compliance with the new government guidelines, Shivaji University has clarified the following points for candidates who had already applied under the earlier notification:

  1. No Reapplication Required:
    Candidates who submitted their applications earlier do not need to reapply. However, they must submit the revised standard evaluation format in hard copy at the University office by 17th December 2025, before 6:00 PM.
  2. Submission of Additional Qualifications:
    If candidates have acquired new qualifications or achievements since their initial application, they can submit attested copies of supporting documents along with the revised format.
  3. Incomplete Applications:
    Candidates who applied online but did not submit hard copies earlier may now send their six complete hard copies along with necessary documents and the revised evaluation form by 17th December 2025.
  4. Late Hard Copy Submissions:
    Applications whose hard copies were submitted after the previous deadline will still be considered for recruitment, provided that candidates now submit the revised standard format within the new deadline.
  5. Terms and Conditions:
    All other terms and conditions mentioned in the earlier advertisements remain unchanged.
