Assistant Professor Grade I

• Qualifications: Ph.D. in the relevant discipline.
• Experience: Three years after Ph.D. or six years of combined teaching and research experience in reputed academic institutes, R&D labs, or industry.

Associate Professor

• Qualifications: Ph.D.
• Experience:
  • Six years post-Ph.D., including at least three years as Assistant Professor (with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 8,000), OR
  • Nine years total work experience with at least three years after Ph.D., and three years as Assistant Professor.

Professor

• Qualifications: Ph.D.
• Experience:
  • Ten years post-Ph.D., or thirteen years total experience.
  • At least three years at Associate Professor level with Academic Grade Pay of Rs. 9,000–9,500 or equivalent in reputable institutes, R&D labs, or industry.
