Session on Citizen Science and Open Data Platforms – Avinashilingam Institute, Coimbatore

The Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women, in collaboration with the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) – Academic and Administrative Development Centre (AIU-AI-AADC) and the Department of Chemistry, organized the Fifth Short Term Capacity Building Programme. This programme aimed to empower faculty, researchers, and scholars in science and allied disciplines with practical skills, digital tools, and sustainable approaches to integrate technology driven Sustainability into teaching, research, and institutional practices.

Participation Details

The programme attracted participation from faculty, researchers, doctoral scholars, and STEM educators across India. The interdisciplinary nature of the event encouraged collaborations between Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Environmental Science, and Engineering, creating a rich space for peer learning.
