The Chief Minister’s Green Fellowship Programme (CMGFP) 2025–2027 is an initiative by the Department of Environment and Climate Change, Government of Tamil Nadu. This two-year fellowship aims to engage young professionals in supporting district administrations on environmental missions such as the Green Tamil Nadu Mission, Climate Change Mission, Wetlands Mission, and Coastal Restoration Mission.

Eligibility Criteria

| Additional Skills | Strong communication and leadership skills<br>- Experience in data analysis and visualization<br>- Participation in environmental and climate action initiatives such as afforestation drives, clean-up campaigns, and other community-based sustainability projects |
Selection Process for Chief Minister’s Green Fellowship Programme
- Shortlisting: The selection committee will shortlist candidates based on their academic qualifications and relevant experience.
- Interview: The committee will invite shortlisted candidates for an offline interview in Chennai.
- Final Selection: An expert committee will select candidates based on their interview performance and overall merit.
